Hi, my name is Kathy and I am the co-founder of The Fit Clinic. I am  certified in both Personal Training and RYT-200HR Yoga Instructor.

Kathy's story

I’m very passionate about helping others find happiness in life and feel good about themselves. I believe that when you are confident and you FEEL GOOD, you excel in other aspects in your life.

For me, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights, it's about stretching, warming up, eating healthily, and getting necessary rest. It's about finding a balance within our hectic daily lives and help minimize the risk of future health-related issues.


Prior to discovering fitness, I was battling with anxiety and depression. I was unhealthy and unhappy and was struggling to make positive changes in my life. In 2006, I made a commitment to do whatever it takes to pull myself out of the darkness, in order to save myself and for the sake of my kids. My daily fitness routine became and outlet and helped me cope with my daily stressors.  I became even more self-motivated when I start to notice the changes and improvement that was happening to my body and mind.


In 2012, I found Yoga and quickly fell in love with the holistic practice and it's many great benefits. It helps to keep me grounded, centered, clear-headed and opened up my mind to spiritual awakenings.

In 2018, I became certified as a Yoga instructor and taught Power and Vinyasa Yoga at various gyms - Smash gym, Almaden CrossFit, and Corporate employees as a part of a Health & Wellness program. I've also hosted many Karma Yoga events (donation based) to give back to various charities. 

I met my business partner Mike in 2019 who proposed the innovative concept of merging the benefits of both bodybuilding which helps with building muscles and losing fat with Yoga practice which helps improve your flexibility and mobility. These two goes hand in hand and made for the perfect approach to overall health and wellness.

I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of with just enough hard work. I've found my purpose in life and made it a goal to help others achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle, and to give others the guidance and support to reach their best self!
